Once, I did something I really regretted. I watched a video called Secret Little Lives about mothers who kill their children.
I sat down and watched it for a while.
What I found most appalling was that those mothers had been given a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.
I read up on it and it was the classic, you know, bad boy, abusive father, ignored by mothers, troubled mother, things like that.
The thing that I find the most incredible is the prevalence of mothers who kill their children.
If this were a violent crime, a majority of the people in prison would be the mothers of the people who killed their children.
In fact, you can look in the obituaries of a community and find the entire town's worth of mothers and stepmothers killed by their stepchildren or by their stepchildren.
This has happened time and time again.
But, when mothers murder their children, there are no cameras to document their behaviour, there are no psychiatrists to examine them, and often they are not tried.
They are instead "eliminated from the gene pool."
Many studies, including this one, have found that it is far more common for a woman to kill her children than it is for a man to kill his.
I have always had a hard time reconciling that fact with my religious upbringing.
I am agnostic but I was raised to believe that if you do evil, God will judge you.
That was supposed to be your punishment.
You were born in a small, miserable room with an evil, bad mother.
You don't have toys, you don't get fed, and the lights never turn off.

Have your heard of the popular hit game NBA 2K21? It’s a really cool game where 1-3 NBA 2K21 try to kill off the crewmates, while the crew has to finish their tasks or vote off the NBA 2K21 to win.
I like to creep around my home and act like a goblin
I don’t know why but I just enjoy doing this. Maybe it’s my way of dealing with stress or something but I just do it about once every week. Generally I’ll carry around a sack and creep around in a sort of crouch-walking position making goblin noises, then I’ll walk around my house and pick up various different “trinkets” and put them in my bag while saying stuff like “I’ll be having that” and laughing maniacally in my goblin voice (“trinkets” can include anything from shit I find on the ground to cutlery or other utensils). The other day I was talking with my neighbours and they mentioned hearing weird noises like what I wrote about and I was just internally screaming the entire conversation. I’m 99% sure they don’t know it’s me but god that 1% chance is seriously weighing on my mind.
